Songs of the Sea

Songs of the Sea is about shifting the current baseline health of Tāmaki Makaurau's Hauraki Gulf — by sharing what we used to have with today’s generation.

Using rich historical images and film we tried to push the footage into a modern era — to engage, educate and inspire change. Using motion design within the old imagery to captivate and inform the audience of how it once was.
